Vintage Feeling
Hello there! I hope you all are having lovely weekends so far. So far, I've been sleeping too much (really, it's terrible) and enjoying not having to frantically do work now that I'm on break! I wore this outfit on Friday to o a little thrifting. The skirt is, as I'm sure you've noticed, a bit longer than what I usually wear. I'm not sure whether I should shorten it or leave it this length. What do you guys think? I think the skirt has a real vintage feeling at this length, which I like, but I'm wondering if it would be more "me" in a shorter length. Either way, the pattern was what really drew me to the skirt. It's a colorful floral, and the fabric feels like velvet!
As I had mentioned, I finally did a bit of thrifting. I got a green top (which I wore yesterday, so you'll get to see it soon!), a denim vest which I've been wanting for the LONGEST, a denim jacket, and two little decorative dishes with painted scenes from San Francisco on them. All in all, I was quite happy with what I found!

I think that length actually looks great! Plus it's always fun to have something a little different in your closet instead of everything being the same. :D

I really like that length! If anything, you can always temporarily hem it with safety pins and then readjust it so you don't need to permanently change it. ♥
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see all your purchases!
the skirt is fantastic, a prized vintage piece. the pattern is amazing. i would like to see it in a shorter length if you just fold them up and put safety pins like JULIA said to see how it'd look, but gorgeous skirt nontheless
ReplyDeleteLove the longer length skirt, very ladylike and I adore your peter pan collar top too. you look really pretty!
ReplyDeleteI actually really like the skirt in that length! However it'd look great in any length, but I like it as is. :)
ReplyDeletei really like this outfit. there's something elegant about it. you look gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty skirt but I'm SUPER in love with the top. I need to find an adorable collared blouse like that. =(
