My Eyes Are Shooting Sparks

Hello there! So, it seems that I keep falling off the face of the bloggy world every weekend. It's just that every school week drains me so much that all I want to do on the weekends is cuddle and play video games and stay off of the computer. For this reason, I'm so very looking forward to spring break (only two weeks away!) Zak and I have been thinking about taking some sort of short trip to somewhere close like Boston of Philadelphia. The more I think about it, though, and as much as I would like to visit these places, I think my greatest desire is to get AWAY from any sort of city for a weekend. I'm so tired of my urban environment and I would just love to visit a beautiful, rural area, have a picnic and read Edgar Alan Poe stories out loud in some lovely open field. If that could happen, it would make me quite a happy lady. Do you guys have any plans or hopes for spring break?

Sweater: UO
Skirt: Forever 21
Tights: Hue
Shoes: DSW
Gold belt: Grandma's

Until tomorrow,
Nicole

  1. I don't really have plans for spring break except working. I don't think that counts though lol. My boyfriend's younger sister may come stay with us. If she does, it will be really fun.

  2. You look SO good in these pictures! That sweater, I think, was made FOR you:) It's lovely! I love that floral skirt, too. I feel you on weekends. I'm drained already and it's Monday. Oh gosh.

  3. I absolutely love sweaters and yours is so pretty and the perfect shade of bright blue!! :)

Maybe while exploring those large cities, you will come across some small uninhabited area that you will fall in love with. You never know what you'll!
At the moment my Spring Break plans are going back and forth. I'm hoping to go on a few day trips, one each day. But we'll see..

  4. I love the grey tights with the clashing sweater and skirt - so cute! I know how you feel being stuck in the city, luckily I escape for a couple of hours this weekend though - hope you get the chance to soon!

  5. I think I totally understand you! I have lots of books I'd like to read but can't during the semester as there are tons of readings for school so I usually don't want to read anything more. Sometimes I think there will never be time enough for me to just sit and read something normal (= not school related).

Oh and I'm in love with that skirt. Just saying :D

  7. You should do a nice relaxing getaway instead of going to the city! I think it's just what you need!

I WISH I had a spring break, I graduated from college in 2006...It's been a while since I've had one. :(

  19. This outfit is seriously cute! Love that bright sweater paired with the cute skirt, it really looks lovely together! :) Wish I had spring break from work! I do agree though, if I had the choice I'd definitely get away to the countryside, to look at the big open sky. xx
