Like A Grandpa

Hello there! So, today's outfit, as the title suggests, has me feeling like an effeminate grandpa, though in the best way, of course. My elbow patched cardigan, my man shoes, and my lace top all have me feeling a bit elderly, but I'm fine with that. Rather, I enjoy it! Also, my inability to match shades of brown could be misconstrued as senility. Once again, though, I'm okay with that! The colder months have been making me gravitate towards the color brown, and it seems that when I find something I like, I kind of go all out. Hence, lots of brown in today's outfit.

It's a very strange feeling to see everything winding down. It's been one heck of a semester emotionally and mentally, and I'm happy to see it coming to an end. I just had my final meeting with one of my favorite teachers from the semester, and got a wee bit bummed out because of it. I still have one more week left, but this weekend is (should be) my time to finish up everything there's left to do (including an Aristotle paper that is truly an enigma to me). Then, onto watching all of the animated Christmas movies I've been putting off in favor of work. Hoorah!

  2. Oh god I LOVE old man outfits. Love. They make me feel so British and amazing, like Remus Lupin or John Watson or... or... or. Anyway I love this outfit, naturally, especially that sweater and the shoes!

  3. Love this outfit! The colors and the patterns are great.
Also, I know how you feel about the semester ending. I just talked to my favorite prof today too and it was bittersweet since I won't see him next semester because I'll be studying abroad. He's a mentor to me and it will be sad not to see everyone.
