Cold Water Eyes

DSC_0436

Hello there! Did you guys have a good weekend? Mine was fairly lazy, and I spent a whole lot of time reading for school (BOO!) and completing/continuing some more craft projects. On Saturday, my sister came up from the city and we took a drive to the mall. Neither of us bought anything, or even tried anything on, but we did eat at the Cheesecake Factory, and that's what counts. And that we spent time together. That counts to.

This outfit came together really easily. Most mornings lately I go through eighty different outfit combinations and leave the house unsatisfied with what I cam up with. But with this one, I just grabbed some things from my closet and they worked together. I love it when that happens.

Blouse, Sweater: Urban Outfitters (gifts), Skirt: H&M (gift), tights: Uniqlo, Shoes: Ruche

  1. I read that as "my minister came up and we went to the mall" and was wondering why you went to the mall with your minister? But I re-read it, and now all is cleared up. I, too, have had a lazy weekend.. and a lazy Christmas break. I go back tomorrow though. :P Ah well.

This outfit is just lovely. I love the neutrals and then that sudden appearance of those pretty plum tights! The lace collar adds such a pretty detail, too. I'm glad that you got to spend time with your sister. Have a woooonnnderful rest of the week! <3

  10. Man, I go away for a liiittle while and the blog changes. I really like the pattern as a background, but I'll admit the header seems to disappear a little. The bear rocks, hehe. (: Anyway, short skirts are so NOT made for jumping, but it has never stopped me, that's for sure.

Oh yeah, when're you mailing me those tights? Hehe.

  13. Thanks for the feedback on my layout! I've been secretly wanting someone to comment on the blog header, because I was on the fence about it too. I originally wanted to do that thing where the pattern shows up in the font of the letters, like in your header, but I couldn't figure it out, so I went with this for now.

  14. LOL. Well, If I knew any fashionable ministers I might go to the mall with them? Maybe? That sucks that you have to go back to school tomorrow (today?) though!
