On Friday I met up with one of my friends from high school, Lissette, for a nice lunch in the city. It was really great catching up with her for a few hours. It's always really refreshing to see someone from your past as the same, wonderful person they were when you last met with them. Lissette is one of the most real people I know. Her honesty is a breath of fresh air, and I really loved talking about the past and what we've both been up to in the past year. One of the most important things we talked about is relationships, mainly friendships, and keeping people close to you only if they deserve your love and trust. I've had some struggles with friends in the past years, mostly in high school, and this is something I struggle with. But after a good talk on Friday, and a lot of past struggles, I'm determined to try and surround myself only with people who really care about me.
Of course, we were so busy chatting (and eating lemon ricotta pankcakes!) that I have no pictures, but I did take outfit pictures once I got back home, so here are those. I wanted to wear something bright and fun, and this dress fit the bill. Was it a bit warm for a long knit vest? Of course. Did that stop me? Of course not.
Oh! And before I forget, I added a few more items to my blog shop. So go and check those out if you like :)

Until tomorrow,
Nicole
