Today is my one year blog anniversary! I plumb almost missed it, too. Last night, I was going through my blog archives (because I'm so cool) and I remembered that I had started my blog in the middle of June. I was quite relieved when I saw that today was my blog anniversary and I hadn't missed it! Of course, today was one of those days where I felt bloaty and gross, everything in my closet disagreed with me, and I had an icky hair day, but it's my blog anniversary, so get dressed, I had to! I like the end product quite a lot considering, and hey, I'm finally wearing a turban!
This year has had some extreme highs and terrible lows, and I've been so happy to have this blog to document every bit of it. I am also so, so thankful for you guys, all of the friends I've made through this blog. The support you've all given me this year is something I can never adequately thank you all for, though I'll try: THANK YOU! You are a big part of the reason I stuck with this blog. Whenever I considered giving it up, I remembered all of you and how much I love being a part of this community. To think the night I made this blog, I immediately deleted it because I didn't think I was good/fashionable enough to have one (whatever that means). With every post, I learn more about myself, what I like, and who I want to be. At times, I've struggled with feeling inadequate and not being "beautiful enough," but having this blog has been helpful in teaching me to love who I am and fight the insecurities that I've been dealing with for much of my life. So, I'm so glad I've had this blog for a year, and I'm excited to see where this next year takes me.
