Last night, I attended a graduation party for a family friend who is basically my little brother. It's so strange how fast time seems to be moving these days! I met his family when he was just in kindergarten. Now he's on his way to high school and I feel elderly. I decided that the party would be a good opportunity to debut this red dress I picked up at a small church thrift store a few weeks ago. It was one of those moments where I just saw the dress hanging there, and even though I had no idea if it would even fit me (it looked a bit snug and the material has no give) I kind of had to buy it. It was only six dollars, and was such a fun color! It was a little snug on my stomach when I first bought it, but now that I've lost just a few more pounds, I think it looks alright. The mom of the graduate, who is kind of like a second mom to me, commented that it had a lovely vintage, Coco Chanel feel to it, and that's always a nice thing to hear!
