Hello there! So, I am halfway done with my last day of school, and completely done with my work for the semester! It's a pretty strange feeling, really. This semester flew by, and I know time is just going to keep whizzing by faster and faster as I get older. I had a moment of calm this morning while driving to school, as Tom Petty's "Learning to Fly" played on the radio, and in that small moment, I felt like things were going to be fine. Summer will be great. If I don't get a job I can volunteer, which will be just s if not more rewarding. I have an internship, and I need to give it my all. Then I got to school and got all nervous about turning in my work, but that moment did give me a nice little sense of calm that I hope to carry with me today, and for the rest of the summer.
So, for this outfit I was completely inspired by this post by the lovely Shy of Chesterfield! I was having a slow day, but the weather out was amazing, I wanted to get dressed up for a walk outside. When I saw how Shy tied her chambray shirt over her cute floral skirt, I totally wanted to try the look for myself, though apparently in reverse, since my skirt is chambray and my blouse is floral! Anyway, Zak and I generally take walks together around my neighborhood, and frankly my little city neighborhood is pretty boring and gray, so when we see beautiful houses, they really stand out. This house is one of them. It's beautiful and has an awesome yard with a stone table and chairs set. It's really great, so I decided to take photos in front of it.
