The Cat Returns

So, today my boyfriend and I decided to make a trip to Barnes and Noble to browse all of the lovely books (though in the course of "renovations" the poetry section has mysteriously disappeared...) and to pick up a Hayau Miyazaki film to watch tonight. I've seen a few of his films (Ponyo, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away) and I've liked them all, so we figured we would pick up another to watch for movie night. After much deliberation, we finally decided on The Cat Returns, because it involves a cat who is actually the Prince of Cats, which sounds silly and wonderful. Do you guys have any movie recommendations? I love films and am always looking for some new ones to watch! :)

Today, I knew I wanted to wear a dress because it was just so warm and sunny out. I decided on this little number, which combines my love for floral and stripes! My boyfriend actually took these pictures for me, which was nice because I didn't have to lug my tripod around.

Dress: Modcloth, Boots, sweater, and belt: Delias

Until Tomorrow,
Nicole :)

  1. you look so cute! hayao miyazaki is my favorite and the cat returns in one of my faves!

  2. I love that dress!!! I love when boyfriends take pictures :) hehe! I love love love spirited away!

  3. Adorable outfit! That dress is so darling. And I think mine and my boyfriend's favorite date spot is Barnes & Noble! Seriously, we can spend hours and hours and hours there. Haha, glad to know we aren't alone.

  4. My favorite favorite favorite Miyazaki is Princess Mononoke. I used to watch it over and over when I was little.

And whoever thought of combining floral and stripes into one dress is clearly a genius.

  5. Have you seen a movie called "KIKUJIRO"? It's magical and sad and wonderful!!! You'll love it!

Also, I think you would love a more lugging around a tripod! My friend invented them, and they are so cool! Makes a GREAT gift, so maybe someone can pick one up for you. :)
    love, mrs. fiero :)
