Once the weather hits sixty degrees, I lose the ability to not wear a denim jacket. That's just how it goes. All of my outfits revolve around my denim jacket. Example: "I like this look but do the proportions work with my DENIM JACKET?" Real life conversations I've had with myself in front of the mirror in the morning. This outfit is one I wore all the time last spring and summer. This same dress, this same jacket. It's my "old reliable" outfit. The outfit that both makes me feel happy and put together enough - which is really nice when you're two days away from spring break with a ton of work to do and hardly any energy/sanity left to complete it with. What're your go to outfits?
Dress, jacket: Salvation Army, Shoes: Ruche
Until tomorrow,
Nicole

I remember you wearing this outfit... and it's still great. The hallmarks of an old reliable! Any outfit you see me wearing that looks comfortable is probably an old reliable... ; )
ReplyDeleteLovely look!
ReplyDeleteAw, your go to outfit is so lovely! Compared to what my to-go to outfit is, it's quite dressy, too. Ahaha. My to go to outfit is leggings and a sweater. Or if I'm feeling daring an actual dress. YEP I have adopted the casual dress style of a college kid.
ReplyDeleteThis is cute, though. The colors are really nice and go together well! It looks like a super versatile outfit, too.
This is a great old reliable outfit. I admire you for always wearing skirts and dresses. Lately I've gotten into a jean slump but now that the 80s are here (yes, it is March and 80 degrees!!!) I'm hoping to bust out in some dresses I've bought over the past few weeks.
ReplyDeleteYour glasses? Are from?
ReplyDeleteI like so much the colors and the style.
ReplyDeleteMy go-to outfit is a striped top and a solid colored bottom. Yours is so much better! Denim jackets + dresses are so easy and you've gotten me into them too :)
ReplyDeleteWell, this outfit might be "old (and reliable)" for you, but to me it looks great. That dress is so cute and the denim jacket is a great addition to it.
ReplyDeleteHmmm looks like in these days I can't go outside my house if I don't wear my denim shirt, my jeans and a slouchy cardigan. So comfy and perfect for the weekend <3
Life is a romantic poem
I don't even own a denim jacket... haha. I love that you freely admit that it commands your wardrobe choices, though. (: Good thing you look good in your jacket, miss.
ReplyDeleteI haven't worn a denim jacket since like middle school but you make it look SO COOL. I might have to try and thrift one. This outfit is so perfectly spring-y. And your sunglasses are adorbz.
ReplyDeleteSTILL A FAVORITE FOREVER.
ReplyDeletedresses are def great for go-to, it's just so easy to throw on only one thing but still feel cute. great thrift finds, I always hope to find a denim jacket like that.
