So Everybody Put Your Best Suit or Dress On

Hello there! Since I wasn't doing anything much today, besides some cleaning, reading, and mario tennis-ing, I figured I would put on an outfit that I didn't get a chance to photograph last week. This dress is one of my favorite things I got for Christmas. It's covered in OWLS! I actually wore it on Christmas day but didn't manage to snap any photos of it then either. I've been feeling super lazy lately, and that's probably because I've been acting super lazy lately. I feel like every year before break I make big plans of a million things I want to do and then things one by one fall by the wayside. I've got a few things lined up for this week though, including my first ever interview for an internship! Goodness, I am so nervous. I figure, though, that it can't hurt to have experience interviewing, whether this goes wonderfully or not, right? Also, in a frenzy of wanting to do more fun things, I looked up local NYC flea markets, and found out about the Hell's Kitchen Flea market that happens every weekend, so I hope I can go to that! Anyone from the area ever been?

Dress: Modcloth
Cardigan: Zara
Tights: Hue
Necklace: Gift
Boots: Urban Outfitters

Until tomorrow,
Nicole

  9. Hell's Kitchen Flea Market sounds like SO much fun! We should make a trip there together, even though I'm the epitome of a broke college student right now, haha. ♥

And owl print on a dress is an automatic plus in my book. I love all the colors in this.

  14. That dress is SO cute! I love how you styled it too. Every time you wear that cardigan I wanna steal it. hehe :D

Also, I've been to the Hell's Kitchen flea market, but only once! It was so much fun. My sister bought some old jewelry and I thrifted an awesome free people dress for a couple bucks. I've been dying to get back there ever since I went!

  16. I love this outfit sooo much. Those boots are epic, firstly, and then the blue (with owls!) and turquoise of the tights go so well together. And I WANT THAT CARDIGAN. SO BADLY. *grabby hands* ...Seriously though I love all of this! And oh man good luck with your interview this week, you will totally rock it! Interviews are stressful, but I've found the best ones I've had are the ones where I'm comfortable and being myself. You'll rule.

  17. Girl, believe me when I say you're not the only one feeling super lazy lately... I think it's some kind of post-Christmas syndrome or something. Whatever it is, I'm experiencing it too. But wearing way less chic-er clothes than you! :P Love the mix of colors in this outfit!
